Fees are calculated by estimating a project's hours multiplied by an hourly rate.
A project's fee is agreed upon by writer and client before the project begins. Hourly rates are: $110 – Copywriting Start-to-finish writing. From information gathering, interviewing, and conceptualizing to creating text for the finished draft. $70 – Rewrites and copyediting Rewriting of existing text provided by client. Includes checks for typographical errors, grammar, punctuation, style, uniformity, and thorough fact-checking. $50 – Proofreading Includes checks for typographical errors, grammar, punctuation, style, uniformity, and minor fact-checking.
